Meditation is a great way to bring our attention inwards to notice the chatter in our head. Flow journal has a great feature that allows you to combine meditation with journaling. After the meditation is over, you can either end the session or journal down some hard to dismiss thoughts or feelings. Those hard to dismiss thoughts or feelings require our extra care and attention to either resolve or be mindful of. If we leave them unaddressed, they might end up having a negative impact on our mind and body. It is important to write those thoughts and emotions down. It is almost like a conversation with ourselves.
